ELANA founded a new company which is to be specialised in offering financial leasing on agricultural land. On 3 December 2012 ELANA Agrocredit was granted a license for a financial institution by the Bulgarian National Bank. The company is included in the BNB register in accordance with the Credit Institutions Law.

The new company was founded to offer the opportunity to agricultural producers for purchasing the farmland they work on at the current prices via financial leasing which will allow them long-term business planning. In the future ELANA Agrocredit will offer also loans for other investment projects such as irrigation systems, equipment, etc.

The team of the company has considerable successful experience in the agricultural sector based on developing, introducing and managing the first REIT investing in farmland in the country – ELANA Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT.
